I’m taking a music class.Iit’s an academic class about popular genres and musicians from Jimi Hendrix to Hip-Hop. Anyways, I took a quiz and my S key on my keyboard stopped working about halfway through so I wrote a lot of answers which looked like gibberish. I had planned to write all the answers without S’s and then walk 15 minute to the nearby university library and use their free computers to add all the S’s. I made a mistake and got there too late and it didn’t give me time to fix it all so I turned in my assignment which looked like a first-grader wrote it.
The teacher warned the whole class that he will not tolerate spelling mistakes and so I turned in the paper expecting to get hardly any points. BUT…:)…I got my grade back yesterday. He accepted my paper and took hardly any points off !! And he was giving me compliments all over the place. On one answer he wrote, " You made many spelling errors but your answer was so good that I didn’t take off any points". And that’ was pretty much how he graded my whole quiz!! He asked me several times if my keyboard was broken because he said I was so thoughtful that he couldn’t believe that I would misspell so many words. so he read my gibberish and still gave me almost all the points possible because my answers were so good. Not bad for a college course.
