A mild delusional idea ive had on and off for years

Im mostly free from positive symptoms and have been for a couple years now. But every so often i get this old delusional thought creeping back up that maybe im not completely human. Like that i might have an ancestor who wasnt quite the same as standard humans. It happens when i look at my body, face and hands and feet for a bit. They just seem like something is off with them. Not to mention that i think/act different to a lot of more normal people. So that doesnt help.
I know its most probably the sz. But the idea comes to me every so often even though i have the insight to know that its not true.

Its also probably due to the fact that i used to have body dysmorphia. Yeah that makes sense. Its like sz mixed with body dysmorphia. Perfect recipe for thinking your not fully human.

I’ve had the feeling I’m not human but never literally believed it. I think it came from my emotional numbness. Best of luck to you.

Thanks. Its not that bad though. Im a bit anxious today because of an event happening and i think the anxiety from it is making my thinking a bit off. I’ll be fine.

Even though you might look different than other humans you’re 99.99% identical genetically. Don’t worry, you’re human!

Im sorry youre dealing with this. And that you have something going on that is causing youbsome anxiety.

I have a delusion that creeps in and out of my awareness. I just try not to focus on it too much. Somedays i lose that battle but its okay. Just gotta take it one day at a time.

I know that I’m not like other people in my country. I’ve got point of views that my fellow people mostly don’t share maybe because I’ve a melting pot of nations. Maybe that the reason why I feel attracted to women of all races and cultures.

That’s interesting. Mind if i ask what country you are talking about? Australia where i live is definitely a diverse nation these days. Especially in the major cities.

I’m a sotherne Danish Royalist and patriot. I’ve got ancestors from various northern and southern European countries.

People have different amounts of neanderthal or desonivian? DNA. I don’t know if that’s what you’re talking about.

I have heard about that. Supposedly a lot of Europeans have a higher percentage of neanderthal dna compared to most other ethnicities. But there isnt much research into that from what ive seen. I dunno though. Ive also heard that blue eyes comes from one single ancestor around 10,000 years ago who somehow mutated to have that trait.
So according to that theory, every single human who has blue, green or hazel eyes has that common ancestor.

I had the delusion I was a robot once and everyone was pretending I’m human.

I have a lot of neanderthal DNA – don’t know why really. Probably worse off, but it stood out on my 23andme report. Was it just SNPs or alleles or something I don’t understand? Or just traits?

I had delusions I was an alien or robot too. I heard neanderthals were smarter and had bigger brains but were dumber working in groups so it could explain some traits I have inhereted. I also noticed more ‘french lingeage’ and stuff I never knew about. Despite being 25% Italian, I’m less than that according to 23andme, which made me think I was abdopted or a clone or genetically altered by aliens, or Illuminati, or even a test tube baby lol…

In fact it’s my imagination or I’m fantasy prone and imagine this stuff and just say random things or think random things anymore…

Yeah i used to think similarly with all those ideas. But im not consumed by it anymore. It just starts creeping back up on me at times. But i can maintain insight that i am just an average human being in reality.

Quite a lot of psychologists (Adam Smith, Lev Vygotsky, Sigmund Freud, Jacques Lacan, George Herbert Mead, based on Mikhail Bakhtin, Hubert Hermans and Harry Kempen, Kitarou Nishida, and Pierre Rochat) claim that we have or make a sort of imaginary friend in our mind.

The latter, Pierre Rochat makes a connection between that friend and our hands and feet in this paper, with diagrams, that can be Googled.
