A Fiend Called Bread

I have discovered that there is something terrible about bread for me and I’m not sure what it is. I am likely either gluten intolerant or have a yeast allergy or am negatively affected by something in it. I know because since I’ve been on this ketogenic diet I have no longer had a desire to binge on food and I have basically improved in a number of ways. My brother was visiting and I gave into a little sugar usage but I stood firm on the bread. I simply refused to eat it. My family supported me because they noticed improvement too. So I watched them eat all those things I used to consider wonderful like sandwiches, rolls, danishes, and many various products associated with bread while I contently ate salad, meat, veggies, and a little fruit. I gained little to no weight during their 4 day visit and was OK at the end rather than blue like I used to be. One of my nieces has a peanut allergy. She has never been able to eat nuts of any kind, or sesame seeds either. She gave me the longest hug when she left. I thought it was because I had played a really cool chess game with her that latest an hour and was very competitive (she won). Now I suppose it’s because she saw what I was not able to eat instead.

Yes, white bread also makes me want to eat more too. Brown bread not so much.
