A Big Sorry to my Couple of Friends and to all my Haters

I feel I owe everyone an apology for my behaviour today. I just can’t stop laughing for some reason. Sorry to all those I have offended with my pathetic and immature jokes.

I have to admit though, that whilst it was so much fun laughing and rolling around on the floor today I can see I haven’t made any new friends and have possibly lost the only other two I have.

I will continue to post though as I am used to talking to myself lol, :grinning:

please accept my sincere apologies.

Most jokes are pathetic and immature. What I have trouble with goofiness is that is so completely lacks any style. It’s the polar opposite of style. I just figured that out. But one person’s “style” is offensive to others. If no one laughs at your jokes don’t get down on yourself. Just say they didn’t get it, and then forget about it.

One person’s “style” is anathema to another person. I got a couple of debit cards to pay bills with on line. Sometimes when I use one at a store a person looks at me like I’m a wreck and a bumpkin, but I think, “We’ll see who is stylish when you go broke paying 24% interest on your card.”

Another thing I am learning is that humour differs between cultures and countries. Americans may find me offensive, but the Brits wont.

When I moved from New Zealand to Australia at the age of 14 no one at my new school understood my sense of humour at all and I didn’t get theirs. School was a very lonely place for a while. Who would have thought that two countries so close to one another and have reciprocal agreements with each other could have such vast differences in social interactions.

Why would anyone look at you funny for using a debit card? Is that not the norm where you live?

Maybe it’s something different from what I’m thinking of.

I live in an assisted living center for the mentally ill. Six miles away is a town. It has about 15,000 people in it. In that town I’ve gotten some disparagement about the fact that I use a prepaid debit card and not a credit card. If they want to pay 24% interest on a card that’s their business, but I find it really hard to justify.

:slightly_smiling_face:you should not apologise for laughing I don’t think.

I think I missed what this was about but think you laughed at things others don’t laugh at.

I do that too.

I’m not sorry about it though.

I had years with no laughter at all so I appreciate the laughter I do have now and that I’m able to laugh again.

I laughed during sons of anarchy when a guy was tortured because he was innocent my x boyfriend said that’s not funny but I thought it was.

I don’t laugh often.

I laughed with my father when he visited which was nice so sometimes I can laugh with others and share humour with others but not very often.it is rare and precious.

I used to laugh with friends when I had friends.

I find Seinfeld funny so I can have a “mainstream “ humour aswell but often I have laughed at things no one else laughs at or that is inappropriate.

But I welcome my laughter because I had years with no laughter at all and now I rarely laugh and I enjoy laughing.

It feels good to laugh.

I think you should embrace your laughter and not apologise for it.:two_hearts:
