@anon39054230 people generally don’t like to be made fun of.
The thing about your jokes is YOU think they’re funny, but that is simply your own perspective. Even if someone else likes your joke, the person you’re making the joke about might feel differently.
I think it would be safer to reserve that kind of joking for your friends and family, people who you know, and people who know you. Then maybe if one of them tells you they don’t like it, you might actually care whether or not you’ve upset them.

I think you can make jokes that don’t make fun of other people, particularly other forum members. I’ve seen you do it. Or make fun of yourself, like you said.

The thread I made titled “Is Sticking Candle Into Butt Cause Damage?”…was actually really funny.
However, whenever someone or something gets too funny on this forum, somebody inevitably gets offended and casts their bony sanctimonious finger at the author…and then the thread gets shut down by the Moderators.
I’ve seen it scores of times. We just aren’t allowed to be really funny on this site anymore because someone will always take offense and feign being outraged.
It really is a sad situation.
I’ve decided to take a break from posting for a while.
I’ll let someone else pick up the funny bone conversations…and see how they handle the ridiculous attacks of character…for simply trying to give people a chuckle.

I was thinking of when a female forum member posted her picture and you made a joke about her breasts.

Why do I continue to hang out with all of you saps? None of you understand humour or know how to take a joke.

Jokes are powerful, though. With great power comes… a whole lot of offended and vindictive people.
Many good jokes go untold because of the possible repercussions. I’ve tried to learn to be very careful.

Not even trying to be a smartass here: Have you ever done like an open mic night at a comedy club or anything? I almost guarantee you’ll be treated much harsher than here, if they find you unfunny.
