A big bug was in my hair 🤡

I was smoking outside and felt something in/on my hair and just ran my hand through to find a big weird bug :flushed::flushed::flushed::flushed::flushed::flushed::flushed:

Now it is on the ground upside down :neutral_face::neutral_face::neutral_face::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing::grimacing:

Anybody wants to see???

Here’s a Tarantula Hawk Wasp. They fly around in the yard in the summer and I usually go back inside…

@Hedgehog Ewwwwwww! I wouldn’t go outside either if those were flying around.

We have “mosquito hawks” where I live. There not nearly as yucky. Here’s a photo from the internet.

Lol. We have those too! They’re harmless and they eat mosquitoes, so they’re good…but feel creepy if they brush against you.
The Tarantula Hawk wasps aren’t aggressive to people, but the buzzing sound they make gives me chills, and I read that their sting is one of the most painful there is! So, they scare me. :dizzy_face:
