There’s always been some rumor that 50 Cent was a golden gloves champ, but Ive never seen any proof of that. Ive heard that back in my boxing days.
I’d hope so @Hemy. A good boxer will do some damage to an amateur. We have footy players playing the game over here but they aren’t fighting anyone serious. It’s a serious game at high level and they should be prepared. If you’ve done a lifetime of boxing your doing better than most.
Honestly there’s no level of experience 50 possibly could have that would save him. He has weight and potential basic knowledge, but dudes who train and have top level professional experience fall to Mayweather. He wears you down.
When I boxed I usually weighed between 215-196, and I would spar everyone including lower weight classes. The little guys still have a lot of pep in their punch, and they’re fast to boot. I took a left hook to the liver from a little 135 lbs kid that almost put me on my knee.
It won’t look good for 50 if he takes this fight.
People love train smashes but such events really do dilute the realms of serious boxing. It’s hard enough in our worlds where it’s not the sport it used to be. I’m sure it would get a big enough purse that it would be doable…People will watch.

I personally despise these types of matches. I disliked the McGregor vs Mayweather match too, although that had more merit. I hate that the one Paul brother from youtube is getting so much attention for his “boxing” career on gimmick match ups like this.
Prize fighting is turning into something along the lines of professional wrestling, which I’m not trying to trash, but its about cutting the best promo instead of being the best fighter.
I would hate it if Floyd took one of these silly fights and lost his 0 after decades of perfection in the ring to a gimmick fight.
Yeah it’s rubbish for the peeps who are " real " boxers. I saw that macgregor fight and it was still a circus. I don’t watch a lot of boxing but it was enough a brother wanted a look. Don’t condone that at all.

Yea I saw the McGregor ufc fighter vs Mayweather boxing fight. My brother told me about Paul brother the youtuber fight vs Mayweather, my friend also told me that the fight was postponed.
50 is full of it. he doesn’t want any part of Floyd.
This will be a disaster if it comes to fruition for 50 Cent. All this will do is make Money Mayweather even wealthier.
