And I barely have the energy to type this post. I’ve been in bed for days. Is this normal? I only took 2.5 mg today and I can still barely sit up straight

That’s such a low dose.

Sometimes certain meds just don’t sit well with us, Abilify even at 2.5 mg gave me akathisia.
If it’s sedation maybe in time it will wear off. If you’ve been on it a long time though maybe it’s time to switch meds.
What does 5-10mg mean? 2.5mg will do nothing good for you.

yes, when I first started I was like that too. Took while until I was completely functional really. I started with 5 mg

I think around 1 month or two until
- I came back to reality
- the side effects were gone
I even vomited, had nausea and palpitation. It took me a while to just be ‘okay’
