  • No booze.
  • No speed.
  • No weed.
  • No cigs (I allow myself 2 or 3 Cuban cigars per year. Good ones).

AA works.

If only Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix had gone to AA on their 27th birthday, and accomplished what u have they’d be at least twice as…well congratulations :balloon::tada::confetti_ball:. How old were you when you got clean?

23 and I was already having problems with my liver back then (not the Monty Python organ donor card kind). That’s why the 75 year old guy in our group who has 5 years sober calls me “old timer”, which is weird. “Dude, I’m only 50, shut up!”

well done, i wish my dad had gone to AA then maybe he’d still be alive, he died with pulmanary odeama sp* due to acute liver disease, toxins built up in his body and his heart stopped bc of it. was a great guy but just a bit too silly, wish he could have hung around to help my mum but i guess it is what it is.

keep up the good work and keep helping people stay dry :ok_hand:
