I was on seroquel 600mg as my main AP, and it didn’t work out. Some people have luck with it here though as an add on to their main AP.

I have 300 mg Seroquel/Quetiapin. I sleep well most nights. But I combine it with Melatonin 3 mg. If I really can’t sleep i add 7,5-15 mg Zopiclone or if I wake up every hour i add 5-10 mg Nitrazepam.

Side effects? Feeling sleepy? That’s the point of the meds. To sleep. I don’t have other side effects. Except for nitrazepam that makes me drunk next day. I don’t like that feeling.

25mg will probably help you sleep but it won’t do much to help your Sz symptoms.

Oh ok so the Seroquel is only for sleep. Got it. It should help a lot, take it 30 minutes before bed.

I take 800mg of Seroquel a night. I have been on this med for about 15 years, and it has worked really well for me. I hope it works out as well for you as it has me.

What is different between 800mg and 25 mg along iP…that’s mean my dose is less…???

I take 400 mgs of Seroquel. It’s helped me a lot with my psychotic symptoms and my sleep problems, but it’s also caused me to gain quite a bit of weight so be careful about that.

A dose of 25mg is really not going to do too much for symptoms of schizophrenia. Usually it starts to work on SZ at about 100 mg. I started off at about 150mg and over the years I have had to raise the dosage. Your body will adjust to the medication over time, and a lot of the side effects start to go away. I don’t even feel anything after I take my dosage, but you will probably gain some weight. Of course that is a side effect of most AP.

50mg helps me sleep. I take another AP for hallucinations.

I;m at about 250 Seroquel, hoping to get down to zero by the end of next week. Im replacing it with latuda.

At low doses the antipsychotic effect is pretty minimal. It’s used for sleep at those doses. I take 600mg a day, extended release, at night and it works really well for my schizophrenia symptoms. The grogginess sucks but I just drink coffee in the mornings now. It’s been a great med and my AP med for 2 + years.
