Theyâre cute once they develop higher brain function. Before that theyâre messy and distracting. Really started enjoying my daughter AFTER she turned three.

I must disagree. I feel that just prior to mobility they are the most amazing and simple.

My wife is crazy about babies and she loves them. Not to sound sexist, but women seem to respond better to babies than the men I know. There are a few I know who are great with them, but most like to tickle them once or twice and then hand them off to someone else right away.

My husband does that. He says âbring me my babyâ I bring him, then he makes him laugh and passes him back.

I donât call it dysfunctional. Ideally, babies like women because of breast feeding. No wonder men feel out of place.
Our daughter did NOT like breast feeding. She preferred a bottle. I think we burned out three expensive breast pumps because doofus couldnât figure out how natureâs nozzle worked. That being said, I had a really high pressure job with long hours for the first year of her life and she didnât see me a lot. She would FREAK OUT when left alone with me because I wasnât mom. These dayâs sheâs âdaddyâs girlâ and it irks mom. I donât mind it so much.
