1 year after Geodon (Ziprasidone)

Now one year after Geodon was stopped I’ve improved so much.
The Insomnia now finally has passed. The intellectually abilities now have returned. The weight has now stabilised and the anger has passed.
I’m now on Clopixol depo 500 mgs every 3 week and 900 mg Seroquel.

Did you gain any weight on Seroquel?

I was on the.combi 500 mgs Clopixol, 600 mgs Seroquel and 160 mg Geodon and the Geodon made.me gain weight because that it only worked with 500 Kcal x 2 pr day and that amount made me gain weight. So now that I’m off that weight gainer my weight has stabilised at Bmi 27.

I was on Geodon back in May and made the mistake of taking it with olanzapine. It made me afraid of my neighbors and the olanzapine alone won’t stop it anymore.

I got locked up in the state hospital twice from geodon i think. Maybe i wasnt eating enough with it. I didnt seem to work much at all.

Geodon has been weight neutral for me. It has always done me good. I’m surprised that you’re gaining weight on it. Zyprexa was the med. that made me gain weight.

I’m amazed this many people don’t like Geodon. I’ve gotten nothing but good reports on it from people I’ve met on the street. Geodon has been a Godsend for me.

That’s great news! I also developed insomnia while on Geodon. It went away within 2 weeks of stopping it and going on Haldol (haloperidol). Now I’m on Zyprexa (olanzapine) and until tonight, I had no sleep issues since starting it a month or so ago
