With a medication that doesn’t have weight gain and increased prolactin significantly, thats the only 2 things i hope for.
To me, hope is more about something you can do with your own power. Don’t waste it on something you cannot do anything about.
For me, my weight is limited by my medication, I have already ate healthily and taking a balanced lifestyle. Even my nutritionist says he hasn’t seen anyone lost all the weight they gained yet
I lost all my excess weight, but the gain wasn’t due to meds.
What med are you on to lose all your weight? Geodon?
There are meds that don’t really increase prolactin.
Ziprexa. A lot of people have gained on it. But I was and am in a good home and I exercised. Weight just came off without an issue.
when i started clozaril i gained almost 100lbs
now im trying really hard to eat healthy but with the depression keeps me from daily exercise
i lost 20lbs so far but i have a long way to go
it is so hard to lose on all the meds
So how much did you gain and how much did you lose?
About 55 pounds. I had weighed 163 lbs when I moved into this home 18 years ago. I’ve weighed 106 lbs for years, now. My weight is stable for the first time in my adult life.
Did diet help you more or exercising?
I was not dieting at all.
