So I was 7 weeks sober, then relapsed and drank for 2 days and now Im back on track. I thought I could moderate, but I realize that I will have to live a life completely without alcohol, if I don’t want to be an alcoholic

When I quit smoking I first tried to reduce but that didn’t work out.
It was either a pack a day or nothing at all.
I can’t be a social smoker, since I’m truly addicted.
Thought I’d share.

Thank you Jonathan, Im happy that you managed to quit. That is cool.
Yes it is the same for me , either I drink 1 bottle of wine every day (sometimes even more) or I don’t drink at all.

I’ve had the same experience.
What helps the best is going cold-turkey.
Reducing didn’t worked out for me.
