What is the best antipsychotic medication out there that stops especially the voices

Clozopine has worked a miracle for my grandson but he did gain a lot of weight. But the voices are down to about once a week and he can cope with that

has anyone found that with the medication they were taking that got rid of their voices, did you eventually go off the medication and continued with no more voices?.

Clozapine is supposed to be the current gold standard AP. It works for the majority of people, even if most other meds didn’t work for them. Only issue is it’s also infamous for prominent and numerous side effects, which is why it’s typically not prescribed right off the bat.

I’m about to maybe try latuda, hopefully itll have me feelin good.

Latuda’s good stuff in my opinion. I have bipolar and don’t have to take a lot of it but it keeps the psychosis under wraps
