You started right out on a higher dose, so I imagine it will start you with a jolt. I started on 5 mg for ten days before going to 10 mg.
Be patient with it. Your body should start getting acclimated to it in the next few days.

That’s why I have a pill bottle of zyprexa that was never even open. I never took it for that reason
I’m spaced out too. Just walking around my city like a deer and headlights. Too afraid to go in the buss station

when i started olanzapine i was only on 5 mg than went up to 10 and when i quit taking it and started again and was smoking i than took 15 and i spent like 90% of my day in bed, olanzapine is super sedating you might be on too high a dose but youll adjust, you might still feel really low energy but once uve been on it about a month u will know how it affects u

olanzapine is really strong for me once i started taking 10 mg after a while i was basically symptom free i only got it upped to 15 when i was smoking cigarettes because u need a higher dose if u smoke

Im actually keen to take a low dose of Olanzapine, like maybe 5 mg to combat anxiety !!

Hopefully it stops making you spaced out like you said. I used to take risperdal religiously for 3 years and not a day went by that I wasn’t spaced out. Had to rely on espresso

Yeah I felt high when I first started Zyprexa but the feeling soon subsided as I got used to the med.
It should go away soon @LilyoftheValley.

@Wave Ok. How long does it take for me to see if this dose works or not?
That dose will work.But now that you started taking it,I must advice you to monitor your weight gain.As soon it starts to work,you will notice some changes in it.You must eat healthy food,as it will make you more hungry,I think.It may take months,but just be cautious about it.
