So I’ve been on this combo for three weeks, but what puzzles me is that it’s the first time a hear such a combo. I take 10 mg Zyprexa and 10 mg Abilify. I began to investigate and found almost nothing besides it was an “irrational” combination. It works great for me though, but this puzzles me.

I’ve taken zyprexa and Abilify. But never at the same time. But if it works, it works.

She said I was sza both works for bipolar maybe that’s why she prescribed me this combo.

Who told you it was an “irrational” combination? If it works then good. Polypharmacy is a thing.

I read it on internet but I don’t think that’s right.
Some people get insomnia with aripiprazole and olanzapine has sleep inducing effect. And later elevates prolactin and former decreases it. This is my understanding. Reason for you might be different.

She wanted to put me on 20 mg Zyprexa again I told her I needed to go to university and I wouldn’t be able to wake up I had mood swings at that time I told her that I would prefer to take two meds and not 20 mg Zyprexa so she prescribed me Abilify in the morning in addition to Zyprexa the mood swings have gone away on this combo no side effects nothing it is great but I was a little confused due to it being so unusual I didn’t have psychosis just mood swings.
That is an interesting combo to say the least.
I was on this combo for 2 weeks while being cross-tapered fron Zyprexa to Abilify.
