I want to talk about the zodiac killers unusual beliefs apparently he believed that his victims will be his slaves in heaven.Does this guy have a mental illness? Sounds like that from his message.

Ps. I don’t want to offend anybody by implying that mental ill people are dangerous. Just interesting to talk about.

Yeah, I saw that on the news, but from what I remember in the movie he didn’t really physically “take possession” of the victims the way other serial killers do, or keep souvenirs. He just shot them and run. However, the police seems convinced that the author of the letters is the killer, so who knows?

It is also possible he is just messing with people by sensing those letters, making them think he is mentally ill. But I have heard enough weird things on this site to believe someone could genuinely think that way.

It’s true that being mentally ill does not necessarily cause you to be violent, but violent people can have mental illnesses just like anyone else.

Mentally ill people can be violent. But most are more likely to be victims of crimes.

I guess it really depends on the type of illness and diagnosis.

I agree with @Ninjastar and think he could have been playing with the police.

What need would you have for slaves in heaven? More importantly, how would people who “deserve” to be punished by becoming slaves end up going to heaven? :innocent:

It makes us look bad when stuff like this happens. Wasn’t he the one who thought his neighbors dog was talking to him? A lot of people when they think of schizophrenia will immediately think violence.

Yes, but look at human history most genocidal megalomaniacs and murders were not schizophrenic. Its the normies that are the problem in my opinion.

What I hate is when someone commits a mass shooting or something and the news jumps over itself to try and find any mental disorder to diagnose them with. Like oh no, we can’t believe someone with no mental illness could have done something so horrible! Quick, turn them into an inhuman monster so we can pretend we are inseparably different from them by more than just our choices!

thats so true. They cant accept that a normal person would do something inhumane. So they shift the blame to mental illness. then we get blanketed with that crap
