what’s your opinion about IQ tests?
One doctor told me, that I am literally average IQ,
and i felt like… woah, hello my average life 
But then I started thinking like… but it’s not the only thing about me, yeah?
And I read few articles, which explains that IQ is literally not “everything” in life. 
Also, emotional inteligence and etc is very important.
So, your thoughts?
My understanding of IQ is that it’s often used in school and by academics to determine a child’s development or success in school.
It can also be used here in the States by the state and various agencies to determine a child’s intellect and aptitude.
I think it’s perfectly healthy to be aware of your own IQ, but not let it determine everything.
Some people have very high IQ’s, but they have no common sense, or they’re in prison.
What good is it in those cases? I mean it’s just wasted talent in those scenarios.

For me personally it was a better understanding, that probably I won’t be another Einstein or a country president,
but it does not affect what I love to do and what I plan for the future.
And in communication, what I noticed, high IQ can make it even harder, because people with high intellect actually feel like others don’t understand as much as they, and it makes communication harder. (it’s what I noticed)
but also, not for everyone. Some highly intelectual people are also amazing communicators,
and these are probably the ones who reaches the stars…

I watched series about Dahmer not long time ago,
not doing it anymore.
Haha! Yeah, if the mere thought of technology and computers makes you want to mail bombs to people that’s probably pretty good empirical evidence that you need to be locked up in a cage!
@anon8411913 I saw that Netflix miniseries on Dahmer. I liked it, but I understand a lot of the victim’s families were very upset by it. Which I can totally understand.
It’s a very sensitive subject here in America. Criminals becoming celebrities.
I try to remind myself I am unique in some… Hmm unique in specific way? You know like, IDK, even now I cannot find a description for this In fact, still cannot find my unique traits…
but yeah after hearing that I am average intellect woman I felt dumb. And, I am angry on my mom again - from my childhood I believed I am genius and always questioned WHY I CAN’T GET MATH.
