You don't wash chicken breasts, Phil, or liver

Carrots yes, potatoes no. I like potato skin

I don’t peel either. All the flavour is in the skin (or so it is said where I live)

The thing I find truly baffling is, carrots don’t even have a skin? They’re the same the whole way through. So do you just peel off the top layer or?

yes, probably that amount. I’ve never had non-peeled potatoes or carrots, so I wouldn’t be able to say if it tastes better

If you use a peeler on a carrot it takes about 10 sec

Probably shouldn’t say this but I once made a bong solely out of fruit and vegetables. I didn’t peel them then rither

Oh gosh! I know people who have done that also. I never got into that scene so I never tried it. Drugs is bad, kids!

I wouldn’t exactly say that. There is definitely a skin. If you peel a carrot you’ll notice the difference. Carrot peel looks drier, earthier than the insides

Fascinating. I mean, there’s a bit of dirt on the outside, but if you wash it off it’s all just orange. I would experiment with this, but I have a carrot allergy and even handling them makes me break out in a rash. I didn’t figure out it was an allergy until Mr. Star told me. I just thought carrots were spicy like peppers!

@SkinnyMe , how come you changed your name? Prefer people don’t know your real name?

You might say that, yes. Although many people know my name already.

Should I refrain from calling you the G word?

Yes I wash chicken breasts and remove the extra fat. Yes I chop/clean/wash chicken liver thoroughly and yes I peel potatoes and carrots

I honestly didn’t even know washing meat was a thing. Why do people do this? Is it to remove a bit of slime on old meat?

I’m just too lazy to peel potatoes so I leave the skins on

My dad always dries chicken off before putting it in flour for frying.

NOT Beef steak, only chicken. Also careful when touching raw chicken, you have to disinfect everything, it has a lot of bacteria. Liver has to be washed, chopped, cleaned properly.
