You don't know how bad life can be

people I trust in are using me, I 55 and homeless, my kids don’t care, but say they do. I have health condition’s and need to be out of the sun and heat most of the day, I have two jobs, cooking and help a old lady get her food home. with all the compaction’s of making my car payment. just to make these things happen. one of my band members brought me a pack of ciggs after two days with out. once this week I toke a friend to work just to catch a bus back just because I did not have the gas. the room I sleep in is 82 degrees most of the night. god isn’t happy with me. or so I think. he lets voice that talk bad say sh*t in sted of good ones saying good stuff. music is sucking my feeling by bad choices in lessening. you don’t know how bad life can be.

it’s possible that your reality is actually the opposite of what you just wrote.

it just takes time to realize things aren’t always as bad as they seem

Zen,

I’m up, and I’ll phone you if you’d like.

Yeah, I’ve seen some times of pretty bad living. Right now things aren’t too bad for me.

I have various influences in my daily life and I do need to be reminded of the sad suffering side that many people in the world experience. You make a strong point about “how bad life can be.” I hope it is not that way for very long. I hope you have someone to turn to.

When I was homeless, it was the Salvation Army folks that helped me get back on my feet. Are they active where you live @TheGreatestDrZen? So sorry you’re going through this.

I’m sorry you’re struggling DrZen. Don’t be afraid to ask people (like your children) for help. It sounds like you’re having a very rough time. :frowning:

Salvation Army helped my son too when he was homeless. I donate money to them now every month out of gratitude.

That’s sad :disappointed: you’re right I don’t know and I don’t think I could handle life if it was

I follow unique’s logic here, but I believe it’s not that your reality “is actually the opposite” but rather your reality “could be the opposite.” Your life and reality is your own to create, maybe not the stimulus and circumstances, however your response and attitude.

I think you said it best, Zen. Try following your own advice this time. Say and do things more positively and your life will get better.

I’ve learned to never question if life could ever suck more- because it proves true.
It can always get worse. The longer one lives the more this is true.
When you get to the end of your rope @TheGreatestDrZen, HOLD ON!
A big squeezy ((((Hug))))) for you- because you are,
TheGreatestDrZen!

Not to minimize your hardships but I know a little about how bad life can be since I’m on the verge of losing most of what I’ve worked for the last two years; personally and financially and possibly even mentally. But yeah, I hear you on those health problems, growing old (or older) is tough. When it rains, it pours, right?
