Just barely above freezing. The sleet is coming down. Reports are very bad on the highways. Many people in the ditches and some accidents. I’m thankful I don’t have to go out of town. Over night the weather is supposed to get even worse with the sleet turning into snow and ice.

Wow. Already. I love snow, but not ice and sleet. I love taking pictures of snow. It’s so beautiful. But so is ice - it’s just not fun to drive in

Definitely staying as close to home as possible. Thankfully our Thanksgiving dinner is at my sisters place and she lives just a few blocks away.

My deck is getting covered. There is currently a weather warning for today until Sunday. So this is just a start.

Other than 2 years in banff, Alberta I’ve lived in Manitoba my whole life. Here is where my family are. I want my kids to be raised near family. I don’t love the weather in winter but I do love hockey lol.

Highways are starting to close. People are being turned around and not allowed on the highways. If it stays like this there will be no school tomorrow. I just hope everyone is safe.
