Yet another topic I could look up, but I turn to the forum instead

I had my knee x rayed a few months back because of some pain I was having. A bit in left knee but mostly the right. They told me it was fine. Just some old injury there. Whatever.

Anyway, the pain persists but is mostly present after sleeping. I suspect this is due to the way I sleep. Leg positions and whatnot. It generally disappears once up and moving around.

Its on the inside portion of leg, next to knee. I’m wondering if it might be a torn meniscus. Anyone have any experience with a torn meniscus?

I had a similar knee issue until I got one of those full body pregnancy pillows and realized I need a leg pillow.

My knee didn’t bother me again after I started sleeping with pillows between my knees.

Worth a try.

I don’t think about x-ray shows as much as an MRI when it comes muscles and tissues.

Did you have a fall or anything? Or did it just start hurting with no injury?

Thanks @Charles_Foster . I will look into them on Amazon and give it a try.

@Turtle44 no, no falls. No apparent reason for the pain.

Maybe you have some arthritis setting up in it that gets tense when you sleep and don’t move it.

Thats what I originally thought as well. But that shouldve been found on xray, I think.
