I get exactly no trick or treaters.
I live in a pretty remote area on a dark street,
Plus there was a double homicide a few doors down,
I think a combination of those things keeps the kids away.

Last year we got pretty many but the year before we got a few.
I guess it varies.

We give out candy to the kids who come by. We’re in a neighborhood full of single family homes so there will be some.

I can hear them outside. I don’t give out candy though. Mostly because of the dog. He gets too excited and will bark and will try to run out the door.

My wife won’t let me turn the porch light on but all the lights are on inside. We haven’t had one knock yet. I have a lot of candy

The doorbell rang twice. The first time it was a group of three, who asked me politely if they could take a second candy. The second time it was 2 little kids who piled handful after handful into their large sacks. I guess it doesn’t matter, since those are the only two groups we’re likely to get. I was still judging their parents though, who were right there with them as they totally eviscerated my candy bowl.

Nope. Lights all turned off. House dark. I’m in basement with black garbage bags over windows.

Well no kids came by. I have a whole bunch of Nerds and Laffy Taffy I have to eat. Not particularly fond of them. And I have Blow Pops too.
Maybe I will give them to my nephew but my sister seldomly let’s him eat candy.

Most years I get about 10 kids. This year I got none. I live in an apartment.
I now have 22 pieces of chocolate to somehow get rid of.
