Wrong Diagnosis?

A few years ago I was diagnosed with severe generalized anxiety, panic attacks, manic depression and disorganized schizophrenia. But from my research manic depression is a type of bipolar depression. Can this mean I have schizoaffective disorder because schizoaffective is schizophrenia and bipolar together. What do you guys think?

I think if we mush all our diagnoses together they will magically cure each other with the power of cray cray.

I don’t know dude. At the end of the day only a professional can comment on your diagnosis.

Today when l meet my psychiatric he decided I am bipolar and not schizophrenic, because in schizophrenia things become worse for me, after 22 years its a relief, he is my second psychiatric treating me since 5 year. I never forget red colour injections when I admitted and tablets of schizophrenia, so I am happy.

You might bring it up with your doctor. If you feel like you need more treatment let him know.

I know there is something wrong with me and I never take any chance.

Depakote is ok for manic depression.

I am on Aripiplazole 5 mg tablet now.

Manic depression is an old term for bipolar yeah. They also don’t give diagnoses like “disorganized” sz anymore. So it could have been you were just diagnosed before sza was a thing, who knows. Probably if you got a second opinion nowadays you’d be sza.

I swear I have experienced some episodes similar to hypomania, but they also could have just been my psychosis. So who knows.
