A number I didn’t recognize sent a text saying, “Cindy, let’s go out for Japanese food tonight.”
I wrote back, “Last time I went out for Japanese food I died.” Not my best line but not bad for the spur of the moment.
They wrote back, “Go to hell.” Ouch.
I replied, “Hehe, see you there pardner.” Lol.
Waiting to see what they have to say about that.
I usually tell them. “Good, did you get the bitcoins?”
Then crickets heheheheh
My husband is getting calls day and night everyday from these people he got a skin care product for me from. It was a free trial. We chose not to keep it. Now they’re saying the only way to cancel shipment is to pay them a bunch of money. We canceled the card but they won’t stop calling from a different number each time which means blocking it doesn’t help. They even said to my husband “we know your address”! The whole thing is so crazy he’s considering getting a new phone number.
There is an unsolicited goods clause. All you have to do is ignore and nothing will ever happen.
But if you keep answering then they will keep calling.
We’re not answering anymore but they’re still calling multiple times a day everyday
They will give up in 3 to 6 months. My gf went through something of this sort for free trial of health product.
The reason they know your address is probably you had to enter your address to see about the free trial.
Yes, that’s how they got it. They were saying that as a threat
I’ve been getting one or two calls a day from some company that wants to help me lower my heating costs. I talked to them long enough to know I want nothing to do with them. I either ignore their calls or answer and hang up on them when they say hello. It’s irritating but gives me satisfaction to hang up on them. It’s better than last year when I was getting 9 or 10 calls a day from car warranty places and car insurance and people claiming they were from social security. I stopped answering the phone unless I recognized the number, now I only get the 1 or 2 annoying calls from these heating people.
My phone only accepts calls or texts from people already in my address book.
I was only accepting calls from 408, 650 and 916 numbers for awhile but then my therapist and a few other people were sending calls from odd numbers like 510 and 310 which totally confused me and wrecked my strategy.
Had that problem with mine. Now we set up Zoom appointments by email.
haha. I got a cold caller to swear at me. Priceless!
