Ha, damn scammers

Got two similar calls in two days. The guy on the line says he’s from the government and they have a couple of thousand dollars for me. The warning signs that they were scammers was that when they called, my cell phone said the caller was anonymous. I hardly ever get that. The first call I caught was scamming me and I was going to mess with the guy and piss him off. I did this a month ago with a definite, definite, scammer. He called and I caught on within seconds so I played along to set him up to call him on his s^it. I messed with him and the guy choked out the words, “You bast*rd” and hung up. I laughed about that one. And then today at work the government guy told me he had a thousand dollars for me. I tried to mes with him but I was so tired that at my first hello he knew I knew what was gong on and he just hung up, lol.

Yeah I can called many times. Either my computer is not working or I’ve had a car accident. I must have amnesia cos I don’t recall driving in a very long time.

I always get the Microsoft ones, which is hilarious because I’m an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) and was a former MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer) before I let that cert expire.

I get so many spammer and scammer calls that I no longer answer my home phone unless I recognize the phone #. I figure if it’s important, they can leave a voice mail.

My home phone number is unlisted plus it’s been registered on the “Do Not Call” list for years. Nothing seems to stop these calls though. :unamused:

I love messing with them, too.

I once got a call on my work phone from “Microsoft”. They told me to do certain things on my computer so they could hack it. I made myself sound really difficult and stupid to make them frustrated. At one point, I asked, “Why do you scam people.” Needless to say, he hung up on me. Haha.

I shut my phone off after 27 years.

Just one scammer after another only my family know my cell phone number.

But now no one calls at all.

Although someone left me a voice mail about the ‘trafic accident’ I wasn’t in today!
