Just wondering if I took some pain relief for tactile hallucination would it help? Any experience?
Oh, I thought you wrote, “would pain help relieve a tactile hallucination.” Once medicated properly, I would just rub on the affected area. It was usually on my head. My delusion was that it was a brain parasite.
If you are having tactiles I recommend seeing your pdoc a.s.a.p. You can’t sleep with that going on.

No experience, but I don’t see how pain medication can help an hallucination (a false sensory experience).
You need to see a psychiatrist who will very likely prescribe an anti-psychotic.
I doubt it would help, unless you had a physical condition causing the pain. Covering my ears doesn’t make the voices quieter. If you have some ibuprofen Tylenol, it wouldn’t hurt to try. Just don’t take too much.
