I’m finding that working with college students has some upsides.
Number one—most of the students don’t have children and are not pregnant so I don’t have to deal with that all the time. It’s tough being a childless middle aged women in a peer group of people raising young kids. You get to feeling like a real outsider.
Number two—you get the gossip. College kids are full of interesting information.
Number three—they are good with technology.
I’ve never supervised anyone in my life. I’m a little nervous about it. The transition has not happened yet, but it’s coming.
