Well the weekend officially flew by. I gotta go back to work tomorrow at 7:30am till 4pm. This week is work from home independent study for 40 hours so we can prepare for the insurance exam on October 13th. The exam will be 100 questions and we got 2:15 to complete it. My manager says he’s confident we all can pass on the first go. It’s just annoying because we aren’t allowed to study outside of the 40 hours this week and we can’t download the materials nor are we allowed to take notes. In fact my manager said that people who took notes are 50% less likely to pass on the first attempt. Seems crazy to me but I’m trying to play by the rules and pass on the first attempt. I gotta get a 70% to pass, I got this.
Good luck with your exam
what a pressure cooker…I wish you well.
No notes seems brutal. But not impossible. Just stay focused and do your best. Full effort will get you far and it sounds like that’s what you’re doing.
It’s true notes don’t work out. Just give your full attention on the training. And trust and believe it’s all stored in your mind. When questioned you will remember. That’s how I do it. In training I always be the top trainee.
Good luck with it all
Thanks guys, I’m 1 1/2 hours in and on unit 3 of 24. These practice quizzes are so difficult. I’m taking 5 minute breaks after each unit and I’m about to have a 15 minute break in a half hour or so. I’m listening to some instrumental movie soundtracks on a low volume that seems to be helping.
Good luck @Hanna_Foxx!
