What to do if you feel like you are being bullied when you are vulnerable?

Either ignore it or address it.

Maybe if you make some friends things will get better.

I had a team that worked with respect. but my colleagues said goodbye to this job and now there is just me and one old colleague and another 3 new colleagues.

right now there is rivalry and it demands a more combative version of me. How can I protect my mental health?

That sounds really hard. Hoping the air gets cleared.

I ignore this feeling. When I think about things objectively I realize I’m not being bullied.

I’ve been bullied at work before. I changed jobs

I can explain a specific situation, I was cleaning up and my colleague was attending to a customer. What happened was that the colleague shouted my name from the other side of the room, calling me to help. And She Said: you’re doing nothing come to Help. the reality is that i work as much as She. This came from nowhere.

this added to other moments in which I felt that I was spoken to harshly. A simpathised my colegue but i was obligated to out a certain limite on how i want to BE treated.

so I’m not saying that it’s the person’s fault, but rather mine because i need to know how defend myself without got isolated nor agressive

I have some evil thoughts on how I would address the situation but maybe it’s best that I keep it to myself.

Now i am curious

It is not your fault if someone acts like a jerk. You can see what you can do differently though. Decide what approach fits you.

  • Are you sure it’s bullying? Rather than someone randomly being blunt, without wanting to harm you specificly?
  • Is there something you can change?
  • Have you politely and assertively adressed it? What was the response?
  • Can you seek help with someone “higher in the tree” that can support you? A boss, a company confidant? A supportive colleague?
  • Is the atmosphere bad enough to want another job?
  • Is there any kind of meeting where such things are addressed?
