Wondering the difference between Delusional Disorder and Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is often marked by both positive and negative symptoms. Delusional disorder is characterized by delusions that are unaccompanied by other psychotic symptoms such as hallucinations.

There’s more to the diagnoses than these symptoms. One’s functioning and the timing of the symptoms are also important, as is excluding other possible diagnoses.
