Anyone here diagnozed as delusional disorder

Its very similar to schiz. But comornid symptoms, and the delusion is non bizarre.

I always thought i may have delusional disorder, but currently i have very rare symptom, and my symptoms are improving week by week, i have hope that i will be symptom free in few months. If i am not able to completely cure my symptom, than i have psychotic disorder nos , if i am able to cure my rare symptom and go into delusion without medication, than i have delusional disorder,

I am diagnosed as SZA, even though my pdoc gave me that diagnoses, he has no idea about my symptom, thats why it takes 5 minutes to see him, there is nothing he can tell me or advise me, we usually don’t talk much, even when i talk, he doesnt respond, he only says you feel good?
Yes!
Pdoc: your meds are ready to get it…thats all!

One thing that I definitely agree with my therapist/psychologist is that she said that she thought the DSM 5 was a crock of sh*t she basically thought that the diagnostic system has become one jumbled ball of confusion and vagueness - I really dont know where delusional disorder fits in, but it seems to be another perplexing complicated disorder - just another puzzle piece - I am frankly fed up with the entire DSM series and at the entire diagnostic game that psychiatry has created - Thankfully my psychiatrist and therapist really feel the same way about these diagnosis - to them its something to write out for the Insurance companies

Agree with you about the diagnostic classification systems. My symptoms over time have covered anxiety/mood/psychosis/aspergers /, non verbal learning disorder symptoms/ impulse problems ie cross over diagnostic boundaries but they’ve currently pigeon holed me into paranoid PD that doesn’t involve half or more of the symptoms .
Basically it fixates on the paranoia which is present but not the whole picture. If they fixated singularly on other symptoms I’d end up with several alternate diagnoses.
At the end of the day the complexity of psychiatric problems isn’t served well by the DSM /ICD.
