Woke up at 7AM today!

Just a small victory. It felt great once I was up and had completed my morning chores. I’ve been having trouble with sleeping in (sometimes, until 1pm), due to the Remeron making me incredibly drowsy. Generally, it’s a horrible feeling (waking up and knowing half the day is gone).

I think I’ll even do some exercising tonight.

I usually wake up at 1pm with Clozapine. I kind of hate it, but it’s better than life without the meds.

I woke up at 7:45 am and now it’s 7:55 pm. Just took bedtime pills im going to bed soon. I feel really depressed. I miss the girl of my dreams it’s been almost 3 years since I seen her and I always think about her. Maybe I feel depressed becuz usually I take bedtime pills around 5 pm for quite a while. But these last 2 or 3 days I been taking them around 7:30 pm. Feel so sad and lonely

Applause. I get up at nine am.

I am a fan of oversleeping… Cos there’s currently not much I can do during the day. But good for you if its more awake hours you want

I usually get out of bed around 11am or so.
This is too late - I’d like to wake up ideally around 9am.
It’s just that the meds zonk me out.

I used to wake up late back in the day Around lunch time. It was a good way to lose weight - missing breakfast,

I used to get up around 10 or 11. After my recent med change, I’ve been getting up closer to 7, but taking a short nap halfway through the day. This is more consistent with the sleep schedule I had my entire life before meds, so I’m excited.

Congrats! Stick to a routine and follow it. The best thing is to create a schedule so you’re not entirely focused on your thoughts.

Waking up is pretty much hard nowadays with so much thing running in my head, I usually get some sleep late at night and then wake up too late.

I get up mega early. 5:30 am is my alarm but I’m often up earlier.

I love mornings. It’s so peaceful and you get to get up and do what you need to do without the interference of others. I live with my parents so they don’t get up till after 7am. It’s a great time of the day!

Structure is important for schizophrenia. A reason I use an alarm clock and I don’t need to be anywhere!

Clozaril also makes me wake up late :frowning:
I’d love to be up earlier in the morning.

Welcome to the club! I wake up too early almost every morning. Like 400 am to 600 am. Then I take my morning meds and they knock me out and then I have to go back to sleep about 2- 3 hours after taking my meds around 800-900 am and then I sleep until around 1230 pm. Totally wastes my whole morning.
