Withdrawal Risperidone

Hi Guys,

I’ve been using Sertraline for 10 months for Anxiety. For Sensory Overload i temporarily took Risperidon, but is stopped afther 4 weeks because i became depressed and anxious.

Now that i’v stopped (about 12 weeks ago), i notice that i’m still nog back in balance and i’m experiencing the same side effects as i started with Sertraline; feeling anxious, restless sleep, vivid dreams, night sweats, less motivation.

Can anyone explain why this might be? Is this still the withdrawal effects of Risperdone? And how long can this last?

If you don’t mind me asking, are you diagnosed only anxiety?

I am on sertraline too as well as clozapine
I too have apathy (lack of motivation) , vivid dreams etc

I often question myself too if it’s due to the medication or the underlying conditions

I get nightmares and nightsweats whenever I lower my risperidone
