So yesterday was 10 degrees C below normal with a westerly wind which is always cold where I’m at. I know I’m a lightweight but I live in the semi tropics. I am freezing my gonads off. Trying to build up to go for a jog but I think I’ll wait till after lunch as today isn’t any better. Let the place warm up. Brrrrrrrr.
That’s right. I forget you’re in the southern hemisphere. Bundle up.
wow that is so weird that you are dealing with cold weather…sorry it’s been so cold.
Seems like summer is taking forever to get here, rain and cold here
@rogueone what country do you live in. I thought it was if you live in the states winter is like nov-march but if you live below the equator its may-august? Ive lived in aruba and hawaii and its like the same year round so Im confused, can someone explain
Summer is coming here, today it is 15 C and it is very nice to ride my bicycle. In this morning I did ride 10 km, it was nice morning exercising.
I’ve been in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney in the winter. Loved the weather. Summer would be too hot for my liking.
Sorry it’s too cold. I’ve been trying to spend more time outdoors so my body is hopefully acclimated to the summer heat when it gets here. I’m used to cooler weather, and I don’t handle heat well. So I often stay indoors for the summer. I’m trying to see if I’ll adjust by being outside a lot this year. Fingers crossed!
Same issue where I live. The warm season is notably shorter. Really needing our sun to wake up.
are you in brisbane @rogueone…i thought brisbane was warm all year round…i thoughtr 22c in winter
It’s relatively warm compared to other places. We rarely get below 10 degrees C during winter. It can get down to around 0. Most days are like 17 or so if cold. A little toasty.
its been colder here in Scotland lately, we had some strong winds, i went for a walk yesterday and the wind was blowing and i was looking up thinking i hope a branch doesnt break and fall on my head, then the rain picked up and i ducked under a small tree for shelter, it was a nice walk though,
I got my winterjacket out 4 weeks ago. At spring time i put it in the wash for next year. Its a hardyakka wintercoat from a second hand shop. Costs me nothing to none. Very toastie. No such thing as bad weather but bad clothing. Unless its 40 C
