Still warm here but winter is approaching.
I thought this was a bit funny because it’s so common to wear thongs here .all year around.

I used to live in a country town of six hundred people or so.
It was peaceful and loving.
Where I am now is sacred to me but I have only been here a couple of weeks.

Here the waves are a bit too rough for me so I go further away in a sheltered pool and I might only go when it’s pretty warm.
Although winter bathing is good.
I winterbathed in ice water with sauna in Sweden once.
My dad took a pic of himself with snow on the ground wearing only socks shoes and Santa shorts sitting in a lawn chair. My dad’s crazy like that.
I’m also looking forward to winter in Cape Town.

Yes it can get cold. Winter in Cape Town is rainy but snow only on mountains.
