For anyone who does Thanksgiving…

Will you eat anything special or have a nice meal on Thursday?

I ordered some pre-made dishes from the grocery store. I’m planning to make a pie too.

I’ll bring some over to a family member after it’s made.

I hope it’s a relaxing day.

I’m not making a big turkey this year because it’ll just be my husband, one of my daughters, my brother in law, and me.

My daughter requested fettuccine Alfredo, so we’re going to have that and chicken Parmesan. For a side we’re going to have sweet potatoes and green beans. Dessert will be apple pie.

I will be celebrating thanksgiving this year for my brother. We usually don’t celebrate. We are having a traditional turkey, with some Puerto Rican foods from my sister in laws side and some soul food from mine and my brothers side. We’re having thanksgiving at his place if it wasn’t obvious haha.

Hi @Gamera! I’m basically doing the opposite of you this year- I bought pies but am making everything else. One of my favorite things is “sampling” the crock pot stuffing as it gets cooked. I end up so full by the time the meal is ready! I’d like to make the carrots and potatoes the day before, but I really need to neaten up my kitchen first. Both dog crates are in there rn, and they are taking up too much space for me to be able to clean thoroughly, let alone cook! Must get to work!

I’ll have pumpkin pie mash gravy and a cheesy green bean casserole in place of turkey.

I’ll be making it myself for two.

And 2 dogs will also have pumpkin mash and real turkey

I don’t celebrate here in Australia as I’m never invited anc even if I was I would probably not be comfortable.

Can’t afford to buy the ingredients to make for my boyfriend and I .

yes, we will go to family on thursday…been getting my fill of turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing lately…made a dinner yesterday…just for us…love my sister’s dinner though…get to bring home lots of desserts…
