Here comes Thanksgiving soon!

I know it’s almost Halloween but all I can think about is Thanksgiving dinner in November !? My sister always has tons of food that I can take home for me and Angie afterwards…only bummer about Thanksgiving is that I can only eat one plate of food before I get so full I can’t eat anymore…pumpkin pie is what I am looking forward to the most…that and pecan pie…yayyyyy !!

Aww Jukebox I love pumpkin pie and haven’t had it in years. You can’t buy the canned pumpkin here and I am too lazy to make it from scratch. I hope you enjoy thanksgiving and pumpkin pie.

I don’t even think I’ll have anything special for Thanksgiving this year. The kids aren’t coming and I’m not eating meat and turkey is the star of Thanksgiving. I guess I could do all the trimmings and just go without the turkey but it seems like a lot of work for just me and my sister. I think I’ll put my time and money into Christmas dinner and just skip it this year.

im really looking forward to thanksgiving this year as well. my brother and his daughters are flying in. and so is my sister to have thanksgiving over at mom and dad’s new house. im going to give my brother and sister their Christmas gifts when they get here, so I don’t have to send it in the mail. only downside is mom and dad don’t have a tv in the living room, so no football on tv. but the food and company should be good. I will probably even have a couple beers with my brother, which I rarely do nowadays.

my brother is an inbound stowing manager for amazon. so I don’t know how he was able to get out of work. this is the busiest time of the year for amazon. I don’t think he is going to be here long. just a couple of days, I think.

It’s just going to me my Dad and myself.
Maybe I’ll treat myself to some pizza that day.

I find turkey to be too dry.

Is thanks giving like a mini Christmas?

What is the point of it?

for me, it’s just a time to celebrate family…having a big dinner with my loved ones…

We don’t really do traditional Thanksgiving food, but I’ll usually put a little more effort into a good meal. Last year we did fancy individual homemade pizzas. This year might be the same.
