I just got one today. My wife has the flu. I go back home on Friday. The lady at Walgreens said it takes two weeks for the shot to work though.
Hoping I don’t get the flu. I get the shot every year and I haven’t had it in years. The flu that is. I am 49 and I haven’t had the flu since I was 20 something.
no I don’t like flu shots…and I don’t get the shots for shingles either…
I get it every year, i will get mine on the 25th this month when I get my abilify shot
I always get the flu shot. I learned when I worked in the nursing home that getting your shots saves people with less able immune systems
The first and only time I got the flu shot I got blasted with the worst case of the flu .I don’t believe that line of b.s. . That I was already coming down with the flu. They inject you with the flu virus for goodness sakes. A bunch of people at work would not get one. I now know why. No I won’t be getting one.
I got my flu shot about two weeks ago.
I know that the flu shot doesn’t cover all strains, but I’ll take some protection over no protection.

Got two jabs last night, one for flu and a second tetanus/whooping cough booster as the latter has resurfaced thanks to braindead anti-vaxxers. Reacting a bit to the tetanus shot in that left arm is a bit swollen and sore, but they did warn of this. Right arm where I got the flu jab is fine.
Good for another year. I’ll probably have the flu anyhow, but, hopefully not as bad as it could be.

I think it is only old or sick people who get it here. I never thought about it. Im a bit frightened of vaccins anyway, im not getting an unnecessary one.

I think im going to wait til the 14th of November when I go see my nurse. I think I can get a flu shot there. might cost me though.
