Will The Police Break Down My Door?

I got in a fight and now im under psychiatric court order. Im tired of being drugged at my local clinic. Im sure i will get Tardive Dyskinesia from clopixol because ive been on it for 3 months plus 3 months of halodol.

My question is, if i refuse treatment will the police come to my house and break down my door? Has anyone had this happen to them? If they get me how long will they keep me in the psych ward? Thanks, all information is appreciated.

I was forcibly hospitalised and it saved my life. Don’t be so quick to give up the meds would be my advice.

If you can, talk to your psychiatrist about the particular meds you’re on by all means. Maybe other meds would suit you better.

I have been taking antipsychotics for nine years. I don’t have TD. In fact I haven’t seen anyone discussing that here. I wouldn’t worry about it.

The important question is whether or not the meds help you.

TD only starts from typical medication and only when you stop taking it. Taking medication is for people who don’t know any better or for someone who will listen to anything anyone will tell them. I advise everyone to stop taking meds and save yourself problems like anhedonia and sexual dysfunctions.

People who are sick need their meds. Ask to switch to an atypical then. I had negative symptoms before I started taking antipsychotics.

For some of us the meds help.

Well if you want to get drugged thats fully your choice, but dont tell me i need medication. I know for sure i dont hear any voices or see any hallucinations and if i did cool whatever, still dont drug me. Whats the point of being injected if i dont feel like there is something wrong with me? Forced psychiatry it hell on earth and anyone supporting it is just as much in the wrong.

PS psychiatry is a black scar on the face of earth and should be abolished.

Neither do I. I never have. But I go bananas without meds.

If you have a court order to take medication, and you refuse medication, you will be arrested and put in the psych ward. If you even miss your appointment, the police will start calling and looking for you. And, no offense, but you sound like someone who could benefit greatly from medication. I doubt you’re going to get TD from a few months of antipsychotics. Most of us have been on these drugs for years without developing it. If you’re really worried, though, ask to be switched to an atypical like Abilify.
