its 9 years since being psychotic, I will ask my pdoc his opinion…
Ask your pdoc, it depends, I think you live in your dreams too much, to be rich and famous in one night and I don’t know what other,
Tapering with your pdoc’s consent? Possibly.
Tapering without your pdoc’s consent? Probably.
Going off cold turkey? Certainly.
thanks for your advise…
Sorry if I was offensive
I personally think I am a lifer on meds, my psychotic episodes were so server I will never chance it
nightmare on elm street
no I like honest views and I am glad of other people views on this
However, you are a lovely person,
When I came off Prolixin cold turkey I didn’t notice any symptoms for about six months. But then I became wildly delusional and started to hallucinate. If you quit cold turkey it might take awhile, but chances are your symptoms will come back. Talk to your pdoc in depth about what you want to do and see what he or she says. I’ve seen a lot of people come off their med’s and then mess up.
thank you brother we must have a pint of beer some time
thank you @crimby its a big risk I agree
Cigarettes and opium, yes, alcohol? Not anymore,
forgive me but what drug is opium because I don’t know
Search it in Google, its an addictive drug which contains morphine and codeine in it, is extracted from a plant, its highly addictive and very popular in Iran, not sth good but I use it every ten days, it doesn’t cause phychosis or mental problems but anybody uses it for one week in sequence will be addicted to it for the rest of his life so its very dangerous, it used in ancient times as a pain killer,
herion I was offered it when I was 16 I said no!
Heroine is a lot more dangerous than opium, always say no to them cause they cause such a good mood that you will always want them,
the search for heaven part 2, all drug users have sampled heaven IMO
The problem is that you build tolerance to them, never you feel the pleasure of first times again otherwise you use them recreationally, this is why I use it every 10 days to not become addicted and its pleasure remains same, but its still dangerous, many people here in Iran started it for recreational use and then became addicted and the addiction to it ruins the life,
As my CNP has said to me after 6 years of this , yes you will go psychotic and what do you know that exactly what happens to me each time
Doctors prescribe opiodes here in the US for pain. It’s become so common now that opioid addiction has turned into an epidemic.
