I used to post frequently, but not anymore. I like to still check in sometimes, and posting a pic is an easy way to let people know that I didn’t disappear and I’m doing ok.

I’m not worried about people stealing my art. It’ll never get published anyways. But my pic? What if someone recognizes me?
I won’t post one. I don’t want any random on the internet coming to this forum and looking at me. If it was a gated private forum I would.

I love seeing people. I’m so glad you post selfies lol. So I can put a face behind the name. It’s nice. But it is a bit odd it’s the only post some will ever make ? But perhaps not. Maybe they need a little confidence boost in life that is all.
I can understand the worry of art being stolen too. If your a good artist and photographer you can watermark your pictures I think ? But if in doubt, don’t post. Good idea.

I try to think of that statistically. The odds are exetremely low. Besides if someone does recognize you (especially wedged in with the hundreds of other replies in the “post a selfie” thread) then that means they’re in the depths of this forum… further meaning that they’re probably schizophrenic too

Why post a selfie? Thats easy one. Because i’m a narcissistic ■■■■■■■ and it feels good to pretend i love myself.
