I think I have severe mental illness. Even though I’m heavily medicated. I think everything exists. But the universe can only be experienced by your capability to experience it. Normal pism. Lol I think
I avoid the selfie thread, I like to keep things anonymous. Makes participating easier for me.

Nah i posted without any thought about you. I know some schizophrenics in irl, and when they were struggling with voices or feeling persecuted I literally had no idea that that was what they were going through. Kinda an outside perspective helps me realize that they and me for that matter are the only ones experiencing our issues. So maybe most of it is just in our head. Still hard to deal with.
I’m terribly private and have poor self image. I only post selfies once in a blue moon. But there’s some here who are really fond of selfies. I like putting faces to user names. It does help me feel more of a connection when I’m talking to someone.
I think I’m also the wrong generation to be into selfies. I didn’t even have a phone until I was twenty, and that was only after I got in a bad car accident in the middle of winter and was trapped upside down in my car in the middle of nowhere for an hour before I was found. Then I was like, maybe I should get a phone. Lol

When I worked in retail, and was psychotic I thought I was linked up with a messiah, and ppl were coming in the store because of me. There was an angel going around town spreading this news and people wanted to come and visit to have a peek at who this girl was.
According to the psychosis.
I hated it because I felt I needed to make a good impression or else I go to hell…
And hellooo do you like my selfies??? Just for you hehehe… Kidding.
But it’s nice, I like everyone seeing me here. I like seeing a face to a typer so therefore I do it myself

I will say this about the selfie thread…
Staff has not closed it, but we discourage posting selfies. You can be identified if another member is local. We have had someone in the past post another member’s selfie on another website along with their forum screen name.
I don’t think it is safe, but we don’t close it because quite a few people don’t seem worried.
