I’m fat because I eat

I’m fat because I eat too much and it’s harder to lose weight because of my age.

Its 100% my fault.

I’ve had weight gain from meds before and it’s awful.

But definietly not what’s going on now.

I think for most of us it’s a combo of meds and not eating well.

What happened for me is I got fat in 2010 by doing work therapy in the kitchen at the Midnight Mission on skid row in downtown Los Angeles then lost the weight then got fat again in 2013 and 2014 doing work therapy in the kitchen at the Midnight Mission again then left and lost little to no weight over the next year. Don’t know if I actually lost any weight because I didn’t have a scale yet. Then got put on Olanzapine in 2015 and went up to over 280lbs then tried different antipsychotics and was able to get down to close to 230lbs and can’t lose anymore weight on Invega Trinza.

I’m fat because I drink so much beer. When I stop drinking I lose the weight but now nearly 40 years old so might be harder to lose.

I’m fat or overweight because of my psych meds.
They definitely affect my metabolism and caused my diabetes.
Some psych meds are better than others as far as gaining weight is concerned.
Unfortunately I’m on two big weight gaining meds, Risperdal and Depakote.
But with that said I’m still trying to lose weight through diet and medication.

Today I weighed myself and was pleasantly surprised.
I managed to lose 3 more pounds.

I’m refusing to take Depakote again. EVER.

I’ve had a flu for the past couple days and lost a bit of weight. One benefit to being sick I guess

I’m fat due to age, meds, too little exercise, and enjoying good food.

I was a size 14 for a long time, but meds caused me to go up a lot more.

You got to make the decision, whether to live a longer healthy life or to eat good food. Diet and exercise is much more effective than any meds on the market.

The good thing about being a fat guy is you can just throw on a big sweater and look really buff

I’m not fat, I’m fluffy like Gabriel Iglesias.

Seriously, I’m overweight, but 100 pounds less than I used to be on Abilify. Stopped the med, was careful about balanced diet, and worked to lose that weight.

Have accepted I’ll never be skinny again on APs.

I’m obese, like never before.
I started bying bigger used wardrobe, and kept those that I can’t get into.
It’s mainly bc of olanzapine, which I took a year and half years ago. It won’t come off (weight).

I never exercise bc of my hip condition.

Yes, you can see all of those people here that cured their sz and sza with diet and exercise.

Also, no one asked for advice. So take your “good intentions” toward fat people elsewhere.

I hope that was sarcasm @anon4362788

Do you mean diet pills? Or APs?

You know it, @Wave .

I’m so very tired of people popping off like they’re the next Dr Oz.
