I was 145lbs before meds in 2009 i bet maybe i be 150lbs now if it werent for these stupid meds … thanks to these meds im 255lbs and have diabetes thank you meds get me even fatter why not right???

On a side note…I am losing weight from working and walking up and down a zillion stairs everyday. I was at 234 when I checked today. I was 240 something just a short time ago.

I used to weigh 170-190 at 6’1’’ before I got sick in 2011. That’s a normal weight for me. I gained 100 lbs in the first year on medication (Risperdal). I currently weigh 280-290 lbs. I’m obese. I still benefit from the medication, but it’s far from perfect. I’ll continue to take the medication. I definitely need to exercise and eat better.
I weighed in at 298 after my first year of APs. My highest weight was 326…and I’m only 5’3". If it wasn’t for my doctor getting me on the new GLP-1s, I’d still be there. I can never “unsee” being obese, so even tho I’m at 151, i always see myself as huge. Switching to Cobenfy has helped my appetite, too, I’m no longer the food monster that Zyprexa made me.

I have a story similar to yours. 150 lbs in 2009, 260 lbs nowadays down from 340 lbs earlier! I know for a fact the meds made me fat but really there’s no point in resisting the system…

I had a moderate appetite before the psych meds. Always hungry after having been on them until I got prescribed weight loss drugs. It was worst on and after Zyprexa. That shxx made me so hungry I would consider eating packing foam.
Which are that meds for not eating too much?
I m now on 79 kg. Somehow I ve slow down with hunger. But I’m only home so I’m always hungry. Don’t do anything.this illnes is so strange. Some ppl from this meds are slim some fat. I will go mad.

You’re looking for unobtanium if you’re asking about psych meds that reduce appetite. With luck you’ll find one that only gives appetite a mild boost.

I take geodon and caplyta. I’m not hungry much. I eat a bagel for breakfast and dinner, but I drink a lot of fluids; mostly lemon water. But as a kid I barely ate, only one meal a day and it was little. I was to busy running around. I barely ate on zyprexa too, but it slowed my metabolism down so much that I gained 60 pounds barely eating. I binged occasionally though.Even if you don’t eat these pills alter your metabolism. Need a healthy balance. I’m exercising now and slowly losing weight. On zyprexa I laid on my couch for a full year hallucinating out of my mind non stop. I was so out of it and my psychiatrist ran with the med. Crazy.
