Haldol cured me of voices for over a year but then they came back. My haldol was raised but it didn’t help.

yea I took haldol for a bit, I really liked it. I don’t know why they took me off, they said it was too hard on me over time or something like that and switched me to a new generation actually two new generation aps. Bastar*s

I still have voices, but the meds make them manageable. Most days they’re no louder than background noise.

Without an ap, I’d be in hell. I don’t mind the voices not going away as long as I’m able to live with them and function semi-normally.

Not everybody responds the same (or at all) to antipsychotic treatment.

My meds help decrease the voices which I tend to hear once a month on average but sometimes even on meds I relapse and hear voices almost every day - like this month I relapsed for some strange reason and so got to increase the meds

I would say meds suppress the voices I hear most of the time.
