I think it is gross and could give you food poisoning or something worse.

I like a rare steak with some blood.
I mean I wouldn’t want a tough piece I couldn’t chew properly

Idk I think it’s tasty. Well rare steak. I’ve never met anyone who eats raw steak.

I had a rare steak Thursday night. It was good.
I think the blood makes it more sweeter. I can’t stand dry steak, or too chewy.
In some tribal cultures they drink straight blood from the cow. They poke a hole in the cow and fill up a cup with its blood. I don’t like to do that personally, but I do like rare steak.

Yes, you are correct, to a point. There is a type of coccidia in rare beef even if it has been grilled a bit. Yet, most people have already built up an immunity to it.
Yet, at the same, cat owners have the highest percentage of tighter volume in their blood againt ciccidia. Dog owners are second.
So if it is only the first or second time a person with no antibodies against coccidia eats rare steak, the person could become ill.
The diseases we get from our pets, gives us a large enough number of antibodies that eatting a rare steak might not affect us at all.
After all, cats are obligate carnivors. lol
I’ve read that uncooked meat causes less inflammation, it might be even healthier in certain situations

I love steak but have great difficulty eating it because I can’t swallow properly. I have to cut my steak in very small pieces and chew it very fine in order to be able to swallow it. I like my steak medium to well done.
Some might feel health benefits in it as well as raw eggs but I’ve read so much about the problems they can cause I wouldn’t eat them that way.
I like steaks that are medium rare. A little bit juicy and a little bit chewy. Perfect combo I find.
Raw beef or pork can also harbor toxoplasmosis.
That’s actually how more people aquire it, rather than from pet cats.

We can gain antibodies through either, but our food is the usual suspect.
It kind of makes me wonder if cat owners eat more semi cooked meat (like their cats would like to do), than other people do?
Taking after their cats’ would-be habits???lol
