I’ve been reading comment on Facebook (I know I shouldn’t).
But all I seem to read lately is people trashing people on disability.
There’s a lot of hate out there.

I got into an argument with a younger brother about this topic. They think we’re luckier because we don’t work - that food/survival is basically free for us

Some people just need a group of other people to blame for their own problems. They see the money we get and that alot of us don’t work so disability becomes an easy target.

There’s some jealousy of people who get paid to have a day off (he says as he gets ready for work).

They probably have some sort of inferior complex and lash out on someone they perceive to be less than they are, and a easy target.
Most people aren’t like that though, that’s important to remember.

Clearly these people lack humility

I don’t think people really hate people on disability who are legitimately sick. I think people get mad at lazy people who fake illness to get a disability card which a lot of people do.

O think some people just hate bc they are haters, the take life far too seriously, hating and all of that is basically a huge waste of energy and can have bad consequences, dont be a hater.

The people who hate thinks they are self made and their money goes to us, what is their sweat and blood.
They don’t know they are gifted by us !
Because we absorb the negativity from the environment so they could live a positive life.
Ask them to get in to our shoes they immediately struggle to even remove the shoe !
Because that’s how confusing they would be.
They will even forget them self and jump over the cliff.
Like cliff jumpers !

By the way I had a completely great day at work. The client informed me I should take incharge of the floor

Because they think its a free pay out. Its certainly not free, you pay with a debilitating chronic illness. And it certainly doesnt pay enough to live well.

That’s the part that hurts. They don’t care about the hurt/difficulty you’re buried beneath - instead they glee over the one part of the equation that can make sense of “free money”

Right now there’s a lot of hate being thrown around on some of the “news” channels, even moreso than usual. I would recommend not watching “news.”

It is a tax situation. I am wondering how many people would opt out of being eligible for disability pay and medical insurance. We don’t have the option to not pay the taxes.
