Does anyone else feel this way after eating badly. I get this after eating things like donuts, sugary pastrys ect. Im starting to wonder if i have an intolerance to certain foods or something. I have been binge eating for 3 days and feel like utter rubbish. My depression has come back but when i avoid milk and artificial sugar i feel better
I dont feel any worse after sugar - except don’t want diabetes
If I eat crap I feel like crap
I’m always craving sugar
Cheesecake, chocolate mousse deserts etc but I only have them occasionally as a treat maybe at the weekend
I do eat lots of fruit though
And I eat shredded wheat with sugar
I also don’t want diabetes
Yeah same i dont want diabetes either but i do indulge and i wish i didnt
I used to eat lots of sugar - sweets - desserts - replacement for real meals.
Now i just eat salads.
Yeah, eating too much snacks makes my body feel ill. Got to try and control that. I try to make sure I don’t buy too much of that stuff home from the store.
Sugar crashes are awful. You should seriously consider not binge eating. If you can’t control it, see a therapist to work out why
Weird, sugar makes my mood better lol
I used to binge eat alot. Went from a young teen to mid twenties with bulimia and bouts of anorexia. I think if you can start to work out whats going on in your life that you feel stressed about or anxieties you may have or feelings of shame, then maybe you can unpack why you may be drawn to certain behaviours. Its not always about life problems though, can be your body genuinely saying you need something in your diet to nourish you. Hormonally speaking maybe. As i think the endocrine system and the dominance that maybe there has you crave certain foods. But eating can be a form of self punishment too. As it was for me. Feeling so badly about myself and being alone dealing with my insecurites and life experiences. I think it can take a long time for things to settle and it can be really hard going through life as a young person. Trying to understand whats going on… I came across a youtube channel called StylelikeU… it might be nice for you to see maybe. Theres lots of videos about women from different backgrounds talking about their relationship with their bodies. It supports body positivity… i’m only saying this as you needn’t feel shame in who you are. Because of what you eat.
A lot of things you say remind me of me.
Well, my personal experience is that I can’t go from binge eating to extremely strict eating.
There has to at least be an in between.
Right now I’m very happy eating ‘in moderation’
As they call it.
Good luck!!
Yea I feel better avoiding certain food too.
